Rather it is also essential to maintain a balanced diet and a fixed exercising regimen. While the present generation is too much under pressure due to work related reasons, they can hardly make out the time for engaging in an exercise program. Still it is highly recommended as an extensive exercise program can work wonders for the body. Before embarking on a strict exercise regimen, it is extremely important for an overweight person to consult his physician. This is because it is necessary to be sure of his physical fitness. Apart from this, it is necessary to maintain a positive outlook and be poised and determined to indulge in this exercise regimen religiously to ensure weight loss. One should also be careful about resorting to one's stamina level while exercising and practice certain warm up exercises before actually starting the regimen.

In the beginning, one can simply embark on brisk walks for a time period of about 20 minutes and then rest for a while and then continue again. Walking is relaxing as well as a very effective weight loss exercise. This is to be followed by workouts of the upper section of the body and then consecutively the bottom part of the body and this can also be supplemented by a quick walk or a jog for about 10 minutes. This comprises the initial part of the exercise program and after this one must relax for a day and ponder upon the effects of the exercise regimen and inculcate certain positive impacts pf this routine. It is important to keep in mind that exercising will lead to weight loss but will take some time and so one must not lose patience.
