So you have decided that you want to build your own sauna. The next step is choosing which room you want to construct it in. When deciding on location you will need to take certain things into consideration, such as size and utilities that are available. You will also need to decide on how to integrate washing and changing amenities.

In the perfect world there will be a shower nearby for people to wash before they enter the sauna. Once all these logistics have been worked out it's time to construct your sauna. The next question is skill level, or like me your level of patience. This will determine whether you decide between a sauna kit and building one from the ground up.

The assembly of a sauna is as easy as 1, 2, 3 Complete assembly of a Pre-Built Sauna takes only a few hours. Anybody can install modular saunas, as they are prefabricated for easy assembly. Some assembly is required when you install the door and benches. In some pre-built kits assembly can take less than 30 minutes using just a screw driver. This makes this type of sauna completely portable.

Sauna units come with assembly instructions and diagrams, along with basic sauna instructions. Easy to use latches make assembly a snap. Assembly of the sauna requires at least 2 adults to complete. Every panel is numbered to facilitate easy assembly. Comply with manufacturer's instructions for assembly and installation of heating systems, lighting systems, controls, and accessories.
