There are many people who dream of being successful network marketers. They spend time and money on buying e-books and reading them. They will go through a host of audio and video tapes trying to learn the art of internet marketing and perfecting it. Then they just sit back and do nothing.

The fear of unknown and rejection is one the biggest reasons why new network marketers fail. It is a big step into the unknown. The new network marketers are afraid of trying, afraid of failing and afraid of rejection.

There is no doubt that it takes a lot of courage to start your own business. You are stepping away from the security of a 9 to 5 job into an unknown realm without knowing whether you would be successful or not. You are afraid that you will lose your security and your money. You are afraid that friends and family will make fun of you and wonder why did you want to go into network marketing when you had job security.

All these fears stop new network marketers from taking the plunge. However, I feel that as you spend more time reading and gathering information on how to be a successful internet marketer, you suddenly realize the number of tasks you would have to do in order to become successful. These tasks become a wall and stop you from attaining success. You end up concentrating on the wall and not the goal which is to be a successful internet marketer.

How do you overcome this problem? Once you have decided on the type of network marketing business, stop concentrating on the wall. Learn to prioritize your tasks and handle one situation at a time. Do not try to do too many things and you are bound to fail. As you start working on each single aspect of your network marketing business one at a time, you will one find that you have achieve quite a bit and you are very near to your goal. And, in the bargain you have successfully started your network marketing business.

So, how should go about handling your tasks? Take a look at all the tasks you have to do in order to start your network marketing business. Make a To Do list. Now start with one task at a time based on priority. Complete that task and only then move on to the next one.

As you keep completing tasks, you realize that you are on your way to keeping the successful network marketer you had always wanted to be. Remember, it takes time and effort to build a network marketing business. Nothing happens overnight. As long as you procrastinate, nothing will happen. If you do not want to fail in network marketing, take matters into your hand and start from today.

There is ocean waiting to be discovered and the sooner you start the faster you will reach your goal of being a successful network marketer. Remember, you will have setbacks and things will not go your way always but the essence in being a successful network marketer is not to give up - ever. Learn from your mistakes and do not get discouraged. Even those who are successful network marketers are constantly learning and adapting themselves to the situation. You are just a beginner so your learning curve will continue for sometime.

Once you have decided on a network marketing business, stick to it. You have invested time in researching the project. Do not get swayed by what others, specially family and friends, have to say. The more you delay and fear failure, the more doubts will creep into your mind. Ignore everything around you and stick to your guns. This is the secret to network marketing success.
